Social Media Manager

Starting Pay: $23 - $25/hr (Based on experience) - Full Time

Mockins is a fast-growing automotive e-commerce brand based in Brooklyn, NY. We design innovative products for car enthusiasts and adventure seekers. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a motivated Social Media Manager to grow our social platforms.

We're seeking a creative, resourceful Social Media Manager to own our day-to-day social media presence — creating and editing content, coordinating influencer outreach, and spotting new opportunities to grow our audience, while working closely with our design and ecommerce teams to align social strategy with sales goals.

• Plan and execute social media strategy across Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, and Facebook
• Create, edit, and prepare content (images, videos, captions) in partnership with the design team
• Upload and schedule posts, maintain publishing calendars, and ensure consistent, on-brand posting
• Research, contact, and manage relationships with influencers and creators for UGC and partnerships
• Align social content with product launches, promotions, and sales goals with the ecommerce team
• Monitor trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to spot growth opportunities
• Troubleshoot content, campaign, and scheduling challenges independently

• Genuine enthusiasm for social platforms, trends, and building brand presence
• Keen eye for aesthetics, storytelling, and spotting new angles or opportunities
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and problem-solving independently
• Basic content editing experience (Canva, Cap Cut, or Premiere Pro a bonus)
• Strong, professional communication for cross-team and influencer outreach
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Adobe Creative Suite and/or influencer marketing experience a plus
