Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: New York

Everise has built a strong reputation with its clients. The next step is continuing to build that reputation with the market — in the press, with industry analysts, on the channels where our buyers already spend their time, and in the rooms where decisions about outsourcing partners get made.

As Head of Public Relations, you own that agenda. You will build and lead the PR and communications function: setting the narrative, earning coverage that matters, arming our executives to be credible public voices, supporting revenue with stories that move deals forward, and protecting the brand when something goes wrong.

This is a builder’s role with executive visibility. You will inherit a capable brand, a business with real proof points, and the mandate to decide how we show up. What you will not inherit is a fully built machine — you are here to create it.

What You Will Own Narrative and integrated communications
  • Build a single, coherent Everise story and translate it into messaging that holds up across earned, owned, and social channels.
  • Run an integrated communications calendar that connects press activity, Linked In thought leadership, executive visibility, content, and campaign moments — so each channel reinforces the others instead of competing with them.
  • Translate complex operational and regulatory subject matter into plain language that a CFO, a Chief Compliance Officer, and a trade journalist can all act on.
Earned media and analyst relations
  • Own and grow relationships with the reporters, editors, and industry analysts who cover CX, BPO, healthcare operations, insurance, and other highly regulated industries.
  • Secure a steady cadence of earned coverage — feature placements, executive commentary, contributed pieces, data-led stories, awards, and analyst inclusion in relevant reports and rankings.
  • Manage agency and freelance partners against clear deliverables and hold them to measurable outcomes rather than activity reports.
Growth-facing communications
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Client Services so PR does measurable work for pipeline: launch narratives, client win stories, category-defining points of view, and proof points sellers can actually use.
  • Connect communications activity to opportunity creation and deal velocity, and report on it with the same rigor the rest of the commercial organization is held to.
  • Support reference programs and client storytelling in step with client relationship owners — with the approvals and confidentiality controls regulated clients require.
  • Act as the senior steward of the Everise brand and reputation across all markets.
  • Manage issues as they emerge — operational, regulatory, client-related, or people-related — with a calm, factual, and coordinated response alongside Legal, Compliance, HR, and the executive team.
  • Lead executive and internal communications that keep our own people as well informed as the market.
Team and function
  • Build the PR function — hiring, developing, and leading a small internal team supported by external specialists.
  • Establish the measurement framework: share of voice, quality of coverage, message pull-through, executive visibility, and contribution to commercial outcomes.
  • Own the annual communications budget and make clear trade-off decisions about where it goes.
What You Bring

We are looking for someone with the depth that only comes from having done this at scale, and the appetite to build rather than maintain. Concretely:

  • 12+ years in public relations or corporate communications, including senior in-house leadership. A mix of agency and in-house experience is a strong advantage.
  • Substantial B2B experience — you understand long sales cycles, multi-stakeholder buying committees, and how communication earns its place in a complex…
