One of New York’s top plaintiff personal injury firm’s is hiring for an in-house videographer and content creator to run video production for our social presence:
Instagram, Meta, Tik Tok, and You Tube.
This role is central to our marketing department, not an add-on to it. We are looking for someone who can take real ownership of the content: not just operating a camera on shoot day, understanding what works on each platform, and shaping how the firm shows up.
Job Description:
- The rest of the month is editing and posting, cutting each shoot into IG/Meta/Tik Tok/You Tube video and short vertical cutdowns, then managing the actual posting schedule
- Some content is built for pure social distribution; some is built to live on the firm's website alongside the practice area it covers, so pacing and depth need to flex by purpose, not follow one template
- Bringing your own ideas for standalone content between shoot days, not just waiting for direction
- Keeping a consistent, strong look and pace across platforms without it feeling like a law firm trying to be a media company
What We're Looking For:
- Real experience shooting and editing short-form vertical video, portfolio or reel required.
- A genuine feel for social media, not just production skill: you know why something performs, not just how to shoot it
- Comfortable directing non-professional talent (attorneys, not actors)
- Creative, self-directed, and invested in making the work great
You'll Be Responsible For:
Brand Management- Maintain and strengthen the Firm's brand identity across social platforms
- Develop campaigns that build brand awareness and engagement
- Create engaging blogs, website content, newsletters, attorney profiles, and client testimonials
- Develop and maintain a content calendar
- Manage the Firm's social media platforms and content calendar
- Create, publish, and monitor engaging social content, including organic and paid campaigns
- Produce and edit photography, video, and graphic content
- Develop creative assets for digital, print, and advertising initiatives
- Manage Google review, client feedback, and testimonial initiatives
- Monitor the Firm's online reputation and directly listings
- Coordinate sponsor ships, networking events, and charitable initiatives
- Support community outreach efforts that strengthen the Firm's presence
- Onsite (in office)
- Full-time with flexibility for part-time or contract arrangements
