The Digital Marketer is responsible for managing all of Shura New York’s major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok) to share and produce relevant engaging content, increase engagement, and research latest news and trends affecting the New York Muslim community.
Qualifications- Currently enrolled in marketing degree program or recent graduate
- Fluent in major social media platforms & how to increase engagement
- Can dedicate daily hours to keep up with content posts and reshare old content
- Able to edit videos
- Experienced in Muslim communities/audiences
- Daily content posting on all social channels
- Keep up with news & updates relevant to the NY Muslim community to update the team with
- Increase engagement on social media & different Muslim audiences
- Repurpose old content to make relevant and shareworthy
- Advertise events, fundraisers, and ongoing projects to gain traction
The applicant is expected to have their own electronic devices/laptop.
Compensation$18/hr
Job TypePart-Time- as needed basis. Remote.
