This MLK Weekend of Service explores Dr. King’s legacy and its connection to food justice in NYC. Volunteers will support food distribution at Broadway Community, helping ensure neighbors have access to nourishing meals. The program starts with facilitated group learning, followed by hands‑on service supporting food justice through direct volunteer action.
Population Served: Families, Homeless, Immigrants, Refugees or Ethnic Groups, Youth.
Requirements: Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+;
Minimum Age: 18+.
