This position is at S:
US’ main office that helps the organization run smoothly. We are currently seeking a volunteer to assist the Office Operations Manager to ensure the day-to-day efficiency of the location. Volunteers would provide essential support to the overall upkeep and smooth operation of the office by handling packages and mail and assisting with light maintenance tasks. Volunteers must be able to carry 30 pounds comfortably.
This would be an ongoing volunteer position with a minimum commitment of once a week for at least 4 hours.
- Transporting outgoing mail to the post office
- Applying postage to mail
- Replenishing office supplies
- Assisting with light on-site maintenance tasks (Ex. replacing light bulbs, tightening loose door handles, etc)
- Supporting the daily delivery of packages and mail
- Understanding of confidentiality
- Organizational skills
- Basic handyman skills
- Ability to follow instructions independently
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+ , Minimum Age:18+
Because volunteers will be working with confidential information, they are required to undergo background checks and fingerprinting.
