Job Type: Part-Time position, for 6 months (20 hours a week)

Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for participating NYC schools
- Help schools understand the Festival of Hope concept, expectations, and opportunities for student participation
- Gather information from schools about their planned contributions and connect to 2nd day event
- Build positive, trusting relationships with school leaders, teachers, and youth representatives
- Implement regional conferences/events branding and design, specific to regional conference locations and in alignment with the IB Global brand identity, established by the Global Marketing and Communications team
- Support high profile communications liaising with local Advisory Groups or other key internal and external key stakeholders in reference to the global conferences in assigned region
- Bring in IB and non-IB youth from other schools and communities
- Event Support
- Assist with logistics for city-wide events, including production, venue, run-of-show and IB integration
- Coordinate youth presenters, storytellers, and student groups as needed
- Coordinate with sponsors and partners
- Support NYC communications and planning aligned to FoH comms Youth Voice & Experience
- Ensure that planning reflects FoH’s values of youth agency, inclusion, and belonging
- Engage youth ambassadors, student councils, and youth advisory groups where appropriate
- Help elevate youth-led ideas into the festival program and narrative
- Communications & Documentation
- Support communication materials for schools, partners, and families (emails, info sheets, timelines)
- Track stories, photos, and videos emerging from schools for celebration and documentation
- Maintain organized files, lists, and project documentation
- Strong project management or coordination experience (education, youth programs, community development, or events)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders with clarity and diplomacy.
- A deep belief in youth voice, creativity, and community impact
- Comfort working independently and in partnership with a global team
- Ability to work in NYC and liaise with schools in person when needed
- Excellent written and oral communication / networking skills
- Conference / event marketing execution
