Hispanic Federation seeks an Immigration Program Manager to provide administrative and logistical support and lead community outreach efforts to partner agencies. The Manager will oversee the Immigration Department’s relationships with stakeholders, manage budgets and data around participant outcomes, and provide support for the immigration program and its events. The Manager will serve as a main point of contact for community-based organizations focused on programming benefit ting immigrant populations.
The Manager will represent HF in community spaces, bring resources to events, and provide real-time updates to support HF’s Immigration Initiatives programming. Additionally, the Manager will serve as a crucial resource in reporting program data and preparing first drafts of impact reports for internal purposes as well as external partners.
The successful candidate will have experience working with immigrant communities in New York City, a commitment to social justice, an ability to communicate with diverse populations, and a high attention to detail. The Manager will liaise with community-based partners and with internal departments across the organization to ensure collaboration.
The position operates under a hybrid model with days in-office and remote. The Manager will also be required to work outside of the office as events and program needs require. All positions are required to be onsite a minimum of ten (10) days a month.

Job Duties and Responsibilities- Oversee immigration fee scholarship initiatives; coordinate with HF internal departments, track project data and budget, and communicate with organizational partners and scholarship awardees.
- Manage the coordination of immigration program reports, sub-grantees site visits, program updates, budgets, and other items as required.
- Develop Know Your Rights and anti-hate presentations and materials with support of the Legal Services Team to create accurate, culturally competent and responsive outreach materials.
- Streamline, monitor, and track data for reporting on private and public funding.
- Review departmental payment requests for accuracy and ensure all information for pertinent financial assistance requests is properly completed.
- Assist with virtual and in-person events; lead logistics and material preparations for Immigration Initiative events such as community health fairs, employment fairs, know-your-rights events, law clinics, etc.
- Represent HF at outreach community events and recruit community and nonprofit participants for immigration activities and events.
- Cultivate new community partners that serve immigrant communities.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned and requested.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, a focus on public policy, government, or political science preferred.
- At least two (2) years of related experience working with a nonprofit supporting community outreach and events.
- Experience with Office
365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) is required; experience with other programs and operating systems will be considered. - Proficiency in written and spoken Spanish is required; additional languages spoken is an asset.
- Experience with public speaking and presenting at trainings or KYR workshops is required.
- Excellent communication skills with strong research and writing experience.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with managing budgets and financial tracking processes.
