Volunteer Mentors for College Access Program at CIANA
CIANA is launching "Pathways to a Successful College Career". Funding for this project was given to CIANA by the New York City Civic Engagement Commission (CEC) and voted upon by community members to proudly serve students & families from the 11101 (Long Island City), 11368 (Corona), and 11369 (East Elmhurst) zip codes. We are looking for Volunteer Mentors to join our team to help bilingual students and families prepare for college applications and financial aid.
We are accepting Volunteer Mentors on a rolling basis. Program estimated start date TBD:
Late March/April 20, 2026.
We'll provide you the training and information you need! All mentors/workshop facilitators will be eligible for paid OMNY cards. Meals/refreshments will be provided during workshops and mentorship. All project participants will be presented a Certificate of Achievement from CIANA / The New York City Civic Engagement Commission.
