Friendly Visiting Volunteer
Queens Community House’s Friendly Visiting Program matches homebound older adults aged 60 and above with volunteers in their community, creating meaningful relationships and reducing isolation.
Volunteer Requirements- Must be 18 years or older.
- Provide two unrelated references.
- Commit to at least six months of volunteer service.
- Consent to a background check.
- Must reside in New York.

The program is available in Western, Central, and Southwest Queens, including Long Island City, Astoria, Sunnyside, Woodside, Jackson Heights, Elmhurst, Corona, Maspeth, Middle Village, Ridgewood, Glendale, Rego Park, Forest Hills, Kew Gardens, Woodhaven, Richmond Hill, Howard Beach, Ozone Park, Jamaica, Hollis, St. Albans, The Rockaways, and Broad Channel.
