Location: New York

4T’s – Teaching Teens to Think is a dynamic youth development nonprofit dedicated to empowering teens through education, mentorship, and entrepreneurship. We help young people re‑engage in school, prepare for careers, and develop the skills to launch their own businesses.

Position Title: Executive Administrative Assistant

Reports To: President

Location: Remote / Hybrid (with some in‑person meetings and events as needed)

Position Type: Volunteer (with potential to grow as funding increases);
This is a remote unpaid position.

Summary

This is not a typical volunteer role. We’re seeking a proactive, organized, and reliable professional to support executive operations and help strengthen the organization’s day‑to‑day functions and strategic growth. This role is ideal for someone looking to contribute their professional skills to a mission‑driven organization. While the position is unpaid, the role offers meaningful responsibility, leadership exposure, and the opportunity to directly contribute to the growth and impact of 4T’s.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the President’s calendar, meetings, and follow‑ups
  • Draft emails, correspondence, and internal communications
  • Prepare meeting agendas, notes, and action items
  • Track organizational priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Maintain organized records, documents, and contact databases
  • Support coordination across fundraising, marketing, and program efforts
  • Help maintain partnership tracking and relationship records
Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone who brings professionalism, reliability, and initiative.

  • Prior experience in administration, operations, project coordination, or nonprofit work
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive);
    Excel is a plus
  • Interest in youth development, education, or community impact
  • Candidates based in the New York Tri‑State area (NY, NJ, CT) are strongly preferred due to occasional in‑person meetings and events

Graduate students or working professionals with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
