Additional Ventures - Remote is seeking a Policy Director for their ocean carbon removal program. The role involves developing and overseeing a comprehensive policy strategy that focuses on promoting effective ocean carbon removal (CDR) practices, including both domestic and international policies. The ideal candidate will engage key stakeholders, lead advocacy campaigns, and develop tactics to advance funding and regulatory frameworks.
The Policy Director will report directly to Sasha Post, Program Director for Climate and Democracy, and will need to balance speed and scale of CDR efforts with equity and environmental considerations.
