Role OverviewThe Partnership and Referral Coordinator will identify and organize potential partners that can support MAP’s work with students and families experiencing housing instability. This role will help build a clear map of schools, shelters, nonprofits, counseling providers, tutoring programs, housing‑support agencies, and public service providers. The coordinator will help MAP strengthen collaboration, reduce service gaps, and create referral pathways that connect families to meaningful support.
Key Responsibilities- Research and document relevant community organizations and public agencies.
- Create and maintain a partner contact list.
- Identify services available to students and families.
- Recommend referral pathways and collaboration opportunities.
- Support outreach to potential partners.
- Contribute to the partnership and referral map included in the final action plan.
Experience or interest in nonprofit partnerships, community resource coordination, youth services, education, housing support, or social services; strong networking, writing, and organizational skills; ability to communicate professionally with external partners; familiarity with NYC service systems preferred.
