Summer Picnic Volunteer Call – Great Corporate Service Opportunity!
Health Advocates for Older People is hosting its annual summer picnic on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, and we are looking for 10–12 volunteers to help with set up, serving food, and clean up from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM (event time 4:30 PM–6:30 PM).
Event location: 316 East 88th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues, located indoors to make the environment comfortable for older adults.
Issue Area(s):
Older adults.
- Assist with set up before the event starts.
- Serve food during the picnic.
- Help with clean‑up and post‑event tidying.
- Age 18 years or older.
- Basic English language skills.
