THE ROLE
Win is seeking an organized, energetic, and relationship-driven Coordinator, Volunteer Services to help manage volunteer engagement, in‑kind donations, and special projects that support families experiencing homelessness. In this role, you will work closely with volunteers, corporate partners, community organizations, and internal stakeholders to create meaningful service opportunities that directly impact the lives of women and children across
New York City.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Coordinate volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, and engagement activities across Win shelters and supportive housing programs
- Manage relationships with corporate, nonprofit, and individual volunteers to create impactful volunteer experiences
- Lead the planning and execution of volunteer events, service projects, and community engagement initiatives
- Oversee in‑kind donation operations, including donation coordination, inventory management, distribution, and donation room logistics
- Supervise Volunteer Services interns and support volunteers participating in departmental projects and events
- Collaborate with Program, Development, and Operations teams to ensure volunteer activities align with client and organizational needs
- Track volunteer participation, donations, and program outcomes using Salesforce and other reporting platforms
- Support major annual initiatives, including holiday giving programs, backpack drives, donor engagement events, and other special projects
WHO YOU WILL BE
You will be willing to travel throughout New York City and occasionally work evenings and weekends to support volunteer programs and special events
You will be highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities simultaneously
You will possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a strong customer service mindset
You will have experience coordinating programs, events, volunteers, customer service activities, or community engagement initiatives
You will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and strong administrative, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
You will have Spanish language proficiency (preferred) and feel comfortable supporting diverse communities
