Participants will learn the basics of grant writing and how it can support a wide range of community-based, nonprofit, and research projects. The workshop will cover different types of funding opportunities, including private foundations, government grants, and individual donors, along with the general requirements and application process for each. The workshop will be facilitated by staff from CitizensNYC, which supports New Yorkers working to improve their neighborhoods through grants, networking, and skill-building opportunities.
