The New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) VISTA program works to place and support Ameri Corps VISTAs at New York nonprofit organizations, for the purpose of building organizational capacity to provide low-income immigrant communities with diverse anti-poverty services.

The NYIC VISTA, Downstate Volunteer Management, placed at the NYIC, will work on volunteer management projects (e.g., recruitment, outreach, training, appreciation, evaluation) in support of the organization's community programming work. SERVICE
