ERSEA Coordinator - Early Childhood Center - Headstart

Location: New York

We infuse a commitment to civic engagement, equality, and communal action into each of our programs, which include early childhood education, youth development, healthy aging, mental health and wellness, English classes for adult immigrants, community centers, and the arts.

Responsibilities:

Work with program Directors to plan and implement programs.

Assist in the recruitment of families and oversee the enrollment/intake process.

Ensure that enrollment is at capacity and compliant with State and Federal program regulations.

Maintain proper documentation on families and children (ERSEA specific documents).Provide guidance and training to staff.

Maintain and develop relationships with other community-based organizations that support the programs work.

Develop and maintain community resource materials for families and staff including referrals.

Monitor and track ongoing medical and health records as well as program requirements.

Develop positive relationships with providers, families, and colleagues.

Responsible for data entry of enrollment and attendance information using various database systems (i.e. Salesforce, Web Enrollment System (WES), the DOE HUB, etc.)Assist in programs annual evaluations and assessments.

Other duties as requested by supervisor to fulfill job responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Human Development, or related field with knowledge of child development (birth to three years)2-3 years experience working with families and providing home visits

Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred

Work schedule:

Full time, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, 35 hours per week
