This is a rare opportunity to help shape the next chapter of PEAS USA (formerly Impact Network). Following the 2025 partnership between PEAS and Impact Network, the U.S. team is entering a new phase under the PEAS name, building on the strengths of two proven organizations with a shared commitment to expanding access to high-quality education across Africa.

Together, PEAS supports more than 300,000 students each year across Uganda, Zambia, and Ghana through direct school management, government partnerships, and evidence-driven approaches to improving learning outcomes.

As PEAS USA enters this next chapter, we're looking for an Associate Director, Partnerships & Philanthropy to help grow our community of philanthropic partners and unlock the next phase of our impact.

This is a highly relational, hands-on role focused on building and stewarding partnerships across family foundations, donor-advised funds, corporate philanthropy, trust-based philanthropy networks, and other values-aligned funders. You will help identify new opportunities, deepen existing relationships, and strengthen PEAS' position within the wider philanthropic ecosystem. You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy building from the ground up, opening doors, creating new relationships, and turning promising conversations into long-term partnerships.

Success in this role looks less like operating as a standalone fundraiser and more like becoming a trusted connector, relationship builder, strategist, and collaborator who brings new champions to PEAS' mission.

Working as part of one integrated global development team, the Associate Director will build on PEAS' fundraising strengths by expanding relationships with family foundations, donor-advised funds, corporate philanthropy, trusts and foundations, and other values-aligned funders.

Success will be measured not only by revenue generated, but by the strength of relationships developed, the expansion of PEAS' philanthropic community, and the organization's ability to attract new champions for its mission.

Working closely with colleagues across the US, UK, and Africa, you'll connect external opportunities with organizational priorities while helping ensure strong coordination across fundraising, programs, and leadership.

We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, enjoys solving problems, and is excited by the opportunity to grow alongside a dynamic organization. The strongest candidates are relationship builders who take initiative, embrace complexity, and are eager to contribute beyond a narrow job description.
