Field Director, Alina Bonsell for New York State Senate Campaign

Moderate Republican Campaign, but candidates from all political parties are encouraged to apply.

The Field Director will be responsible for recruiting, training and mobilizing a team of volunteers and interns to help elect a NY State Senator. Working alongside campaign leadership, the Field Director will draft door-knocking/phone-banking scripts, manage interns, volunteers, and potential field staff, prepare fliers and track data to make sure the campaign is on track to meeting field goals.

We are currently accepting applications for a strong Field Director for an exciting race in Manhattan East (Upper East Side, East Midtown).

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Strong communication skills, ability to engage with volunteers, interns and voters;
• Organized and ability to multitask;
• Experience door knocking and/or phone banking;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/G Suite required;
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, demanding work environment
• Experience using campaign CRMs and other related campaign software preferred
• Prior campaign experience in a field capacity strongly preferred
• Experience in management of interns and volunteers is a plus

Responsibilities include:

• Recruit, train and manage volunteers engaging in voter outreach efforts, including in-person small business canvassing, UpVote relational organizing, postering /palmcarding and phone banking;
• Launch canvasses across the district and manage all aspects data tracking, time-sheets, and other administrative work
• Supervise and coach interns; work with campaign leadership to brainstorm intern projects, including community events;
• Assist with the planning and execution of campaign events;
• Work with Campaign Manager to track canvassing results in CRM and Excel;
• Other duties as assigned.

Start Date: August 2026

Salary Range: $2,500 - $5,000 (Monthly, depending on experience and other factors)
