Location: New York

Summary

Asian American Arts Alliance (A4) seeks a qualified college or university student for the Anjeli Jana Memorial Internship for Fall 2026-Spring 2027. The intern will work closely with the Programs Manager, Development Manager, and Executive Director, as well as other A4 staff, in the planning and execution of A4's public programs, constituent communications, and outreach. Please note that students not enrolled in a college/university program (such as students taking a gap year or who have recently graduated) are not eligible to apply.

Responsibilities and duties may include:
E-mail outreach to various artists and constituents on behalf of A4, data tracking and research, volunteer coordination, and assisting with programmatic activities. Depending on the interest and capacity of the intern, they may also be involved with assisting in fundraising initiatives and operations within A4.

Key Details

Salary: $20/hour

Internship Period:Fall 2026-Spring 2027

Schedule: PT (10-15 hours/week)

Eligibility

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated interest in the arts, the Asian American community, and/or the mission of the organization
  • Organized and self-motivated
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • A clear and convincing writer
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and Canva. Familiarity with CRMs such as Neon is a plus
  • Experience with Adobe creative suite is a plus
