21's Development Intern will work closely with the development team on various projects related to the organization’s fundraising activities. Primary activities for the Fall 2026 internship will include assisting with event planning and fundraising outreach, as well as donor and funder research and database organization and maintenance. In addition, the intern will gain experience in crafting proposals and reports for individuals and foundations, as well as supporting donor stewardship initiatives.
This role is suited for graduate students and above; applicants must hold an undergraduate degree by the start of the internship. Applicants should have strong writing and research skills and a close attention to detail. Applicants should be organized, motivated, and self-directed. Knowledge of contemporary art and familiarity with Raiser's Edge NXT (or other CRM) are preferred.
Key Details- Stipend: $5,712 (disbursed in first and last weeks)
- Internship Dates: 14 weeks (starts week of September 7, 2026)
- Schedule: 3 days/week
