Job Summary:

This position ensures carrying out outreach and field operational activities effectively and efficiently under the guidelines of the Regional Director. The Area Manager shall be responsible for the overall programs’ operations including revenue collection and fundraising, donor management, building network and partnerships with like-minded organizations, volunteer management and representing ICNA Relief at various forums.

Partnerships & Network Development
  • To act as the first point of contact for enquiries on the field outreach work.
  • Participate in community groups, steering communities, forging partnerships with supporting like-minded organizations
  • Collaborate with related organizational members and their boards
  • Build strategic relationships with community leadership including Masjids, Community Leaders, and Islamic Organizations
  • Develop new and creative initiatives to increase revenue
  • Actively seek for federal and local grants
  • Responsible for revenue collection, donor retention, bring in new donors to organization
  • Respond promptly to all enquiries from donors and potential donors by providing information and promotion materials as required
Program Support & Teamwork
  • Communicate, coordinate, collaborate and cooperate with the Service Program Directors
  • Manage day to day work of all the service programs wherever necessary in coordination with the regional team and under guidance of the Regional Director
  • Implement training sessions to ensure continued development of the revenue and service programs’ team
  • Organize banquets, fundraisers, and other special events of service programs.
Operational Support
  • Implement and ensure ongoing compliance with all operational policies, procedures, and training across the field office and staff especially volunteer management.
  • Provide briefings and updates to the management on timely basis.
  • Responsible for accurate data collection, documentation, record keeping and provide timely reports on program services
  • Work closely with Revenue and Marketing departments
Marketing & Social Media Support
  • Produce high quality pictures/videos and client stories from our relief services
  • Actively engage in social media and optimize promotional opportunities for ICNA Relief.
  • Maintain and increase the local volunteer base including recruiting new volunteers from universities, schools and Masajids.
  • Train and supervise volunteers on a regular basis to ensure they act in accordance with ICNA Relief mission, vision, and goals.
  • Ensure that volunteers always live and demonstrate tour core values Sincerity, Sacrifice and Service no matter where they are and what assignments they undertake.
Supervisory Oversight Responsibility

Area Manager is responsible to oversee activities of the field office staff in close coordination and collaboration with their direct supervisors and Program Directors.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Employee must be available during the core work hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as an integral part of the job based on the nature of the role and its responsibilities.

Required

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields
  • Three (03) years of experience of outreach/social work/marketing/sales/fundraising and event management in the non-profit sector or extensive field experience leading teams.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and budgeting skills
  • Strong management and leadership skills, including budget and timeline management
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects
  • Able to handle difficult situations in an effective way
  • Creative thinking abilities; enterprising and resourceful, self-starter and team player
  • Proficient with Social Media Platforms
  • A polished demeanor in person
  • Computer proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint & Word
