Grant Administrator – Chemistry

• Manage all pre-award functions for the department, including overall organization and submission of grant proposals.
• Identify grant opportunities, as well as research program guidelines, and fulfill all reporting requirements on awarded grants.

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years relevant experience including grant budget development/grant writing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in an academic or research environment.
• Pre-award and post award budgeting experience.
• Excellent writing, analytical, problem-solving skills, communication and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of NIH and NSF grant policies and guidelines.
• Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of standard office software.
• Must be detail oriented.

Demonstrates expertise in managing pre-award functions, including grant proposal organization and submission, while ensuring compliance with NIH and NSF grant policies. Possesses strong analytical, writing, and communication skills essential for effective grant budget development and reporting.
