History Founded in 2009 as an annual tour through New York City to honor wounded IDF soldiers,
Belev Echad has evolved into a globally recognized nonprofit dedicated to restoring the lives of these brave heroes. Through emotional, mental, medical, legal, and financial support, we provide life-saving resources to wounded veterans—services they often can’t access on their own.

These heroes fought for Israel. Now, we fight for them.

Our programs empower soldiers and their families to heal, reintegrate, and thrive. Whether it’s mental health treatment, physical rehabilitation, or vocational reintegration, we walk alongside our soldiers every step of the way—ensuring they are supported, uplifted, and never alone.

Position Overview:

Belev Echad islooking for a driven, people-first storyteller to join our development team as our next Donor Engagement & Development Associate. This is a front-row seat to some of the most meaningful relationship-building work in the nonprofit world. You'll be theone that connects our donors and the soldiers whose lives they're changing, turning generosity into lasting relationships and one-time gifts into lifelong champions ofthe Belev Echad mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Donor Portfolio Management:
    Oversee a portfolio of donors ensuring consistent outreach, appreciation, and engagement.

  • Donor Stewardship:
    Work closely with the fundraising team to identify impactful stories and share personalized updates that deepen donor connection.

  • Event Support:
    Assist with the planning and execution of local fundraising and donor engagement events.

  • CRM Maintenance:
    Maintain and update donor records in the database with precision and consistency.

  • Prospect Research:
    Identify and organize new donor leads to support team cultivation strategies.

  • Reporting & Admin:
    Provide support with mailings, reports, acknowledgments, and general fundraising administration

What we are looking for
  • 1–3 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or a related nonprofit role.

  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal with a talent for storytelling and relationship-building.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • A self-starter who thrives independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Comfortable using CRM systems.

  • Passion for Israel, Jewish causes.
