Position Description
Under the supervision of the Director, Capital Campaign, the Assistant, Capital Campaign will provide administrative, operational, and project support for the University's next major philanthropic effort. This role works closely with Advancement leaders, Major Gift Officers, and Development staff to help coordinate campaign activities, track progress, manage donor data, and ensure the smooth execution of campaign initiatives. While the position will not directly engage prospects and donors in fundraising, its administrative support will be important to achieving the campaign's philanthropic goals.
Job Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day administrative and logistical support for the Director, Capital Campaign, including calendar management, meetings scheduling, correspondence, agendas, notes, action items, and general campaign office tasks.
- Maintain and update campaign plans, timelines, internal documents, and organized files of campaign collateral, templates, and resources; coordinate campaign tasks and follow-ups across the Advancement team.
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate donor and gift records in Raiser's Edge NXT; ensure data integrity and proper documentation of campaign-related interactions.
- Assist with prospect tracking, pipeline management, donor segmentation, and generation of reports on campaign progress, donor activity, and key performance metrics.
- Coordinate logistics for donor meetings and visits and support follow-up communications, while working with Advancement colleagues to ensure smooth execution of campaign activities.
- Assist in drafting and proofreading campaign communications, donor acknowledgments, emails, presentations, and other materials; coordinate production and distribution with Marketing and Communications.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience1+ years of professional experience in administration, fundraising, higher education, or a related field.
Knowledge & Skills- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Familiarity with donor databases and Raiser's Edge NXT is beneficial.
