- Report directly to the Chief Development Officer
- Collaboratively raise an organizational budget of $4.024M annually
- Oversee a portfolio of $1.2M–$1.5M current and prospective opportunities
- Renew and identify new grants from institutional partners
- Craft grant proposals and reports communicating the organization’s mission, programs, and impact
- Create standardized proposal and report templates
- Curate and update approved language repositories for proposals and pitch materials
- Facilitate data, operations, and budget requests for grant applications and reporting
- Establish review processes and timelines for grant report projects
- Maintain a grants management calendar and track deadlines
- Conduct prospect research to identify institutional funding opportunities
- Cultivate introductions to potential institutional donors and create prospect profiles
- Support institutional donor relationships through communications, event invites, and impact updates
- Work with program staff to align fundraising efforts with programmatic goals
- Manage budgeting and forecasting for institutional giving
- Write content for the monthly newsletter, social media, and external-facing materials
- Establish a community spotlight roster, interview community members, and write profiles and blog posts
- Assist with solicitation letters and proposals
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of three years experience in grant writing and project management, preferably in the nonprofit sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in research and analysis, with the ability to identify funding opportunities and assess their alignment with organizational priorities
- Proficiency in Salesforce (Preferred)
Demonstrates expertise in grant writing, project management, and fundraising strategies within the nonprofit sector, with a strong focus on communication, organization, and research skills to effectively secure and manage institutional funding.
