OUR MISSION
Riverside Immigrant Services & Empowerment (Riverside) is an immigrant integration center in New York City that supports the economic mobility and social inclusion of newly arrived immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. Our mission is to help immigrants successfully integrate into life in the U.S. by rapidly improving their English language skills, providing wraparound case management and counseling, and offering workforce development training, digital literacy classes, pro bono legal clinic hours, and civics instruction.
These supports and skills ensure that Riverside program participants are better positioned to know their rights and access job training, stable employment, higher education, and other meaningful opportunities to help them navigate re-settlement successfully.
Riverside seeks a full‑time Development Associate to support the organization’s fundraising efforts to build capacity and expand programs and services. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, motivated professional interested in advancing their career in nonprofit fundraising. The Development Associate will report to the Director of Development and Executive Director. The successful candidate will be highly detail‑oriented, computer‑savvy, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and able to work both collaboratively with the team and autonomously.
