  • Represent Met Council at community events, volunteer programs, donor engagements, and speaking opportunities across the Tri-State area.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director of Development and Community Initiatives and broader Development Team to create volunteer and engagement opportunities that support donor cultivation, stewardship, and fundraising goals.
  • Build and maintain strategic service partnerships with corporations, synagogues, schools, nonprofits, Hillels, and other community organizations, identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and expand engagement.
  • Design and oversee large-scale volunteer programs, including program concept, logistics, staffing, supplies, vendor management, and coordination with internal teams.
  • Work horizontally across Met Council's social service programs, Food Programs, Development, and other departments to develop and execute initiatives where volunteerism, community engagement, and development intersect.
  • Develop and manage an annual calendar of volunteer and engagement opportunities aligned with major holidays, cultural moments, agency priorities, and development opportunities.
  • Oversee fellowship, internship, and service programs that expand Met Council's volunteer and programmatic capacity.
  • Develop strategies for volunteer and donor recognition and work with the Development Team to create pathways for continued engagement with Met Council.
  • Oversee key vendors, contracted event staff, budgets, and other resources supporting volunteer programs and Fulfillment Center operations.
