Public Outreach is growing our New York City fundraising team
, and we're looking for outgoing, motivated people to join us over the next few weeks.

You’ll represent nonprofit organizations working on humanitarian, environmental, animal welfare, human rights, and social justice causes.

No fundraising experience is required.

If you're comfortable meeting new people, want work that keeps you active, and like the idea of building skills while doing something meaningful, we'll teach you the rest.

You don't need to work five days a week to join our team.

• Part-time starts at 3 full 8-hour shifts per week - 24 hours minimum
• Full-time opportunities are available up to 40 hours per week
• Shifts must be worked in full rather than as partial-day schedules
• Paid training is provided from day one

This is face-to-face fundraising - not an office job.

You’ll work with a team throughout New York City, speaking directly with members of the public about the nonprofit campaign you’re representing.

You’ll:

• Start conversations with people you’ve never met
• Learn about important nonprofit campaigns and causes
• Explain why the work matters
• Listen, answer questions, and build genuine connections
• Invite people to support the organization by becoming monthly donors
• Work alongside a supportive fundraising team
• Receive regular coaching and feedback
• Work toward clear individual and team fundraising goals

You’ll spend much of your shift outdoors, walking, standing, and talking with people face-to-face

Some people will be excited to stop and talk.

Some won't.

You’ll hear "no."

Then you’ll reset and start the next conversation.

Your hourly wage is guaranteed - this is not commission-only work.

Performance matters, but your base wage isn’t dependent on how many donors you sign up.

Depending on the nonprofit campaign you’re assigned to, your conversations may involve:

• Humanitarian aid and disaster relief
• Support for children and families
• Human and civil rights
• Animal welfare
• Environmental issues
• Communities affected by conflict, poverty, or displacement
• Other nonprofit and advocacy initiatives

Campaigns can change over time, but the goal remains the same: helping nonprofit organizations build sustainable support through meaningful conversations with the public.

You don’t need previous activism or nonprofit experience.

You do need to be open to learning about important issues and comfortable discussing them respectfully with people from all walks of life.
