Charidy is looking for an experienced, relationship-driven Business Development Executive to help us expand our reach within the nonprofit community.
We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates
. What matters most to us is finding the right person — someone who already has meaningful relationships within the nonprofit and philanthropic space and knows how to turn those relationships into conversations, opportunities, and long-term partnerships.
This could be an ideal opportunity for an experienced nonprofit professional, fundraiser, consultant, or business development leader who wants to work with Charidy full-time — or for someone with a strong network who wants to add Charidy to the work they are already doing.
Charidy works with nonprofit organizations around the world to help them raise more money, activate their communities, and build stronger fundraising campaigns. Our approach combines fundraising strategy, technology, coaching, and hands‑on support.
What You’ll Do- Leverage your existing nonprofit relationships to identify and develop new opportunities for Charidy.
- Build relationships with nonprofit executives, development professionals, board members, consultants, and community leaders.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand an organization’s fundraising goals, challenges, donor base, and campaign potential.
- Introduce organizations to Charidy’s fundraising model, strategy, technology, and services in a consultative way.
- Develop opportunities from initial introduction through proposal, negotiation, and signed partnership.
- Consistently nurture relationships and follow up on opportunities.
- Develop referral relationships and strategic partnerships that can expand Charidy’s reach.
- Represent Charidy at conferences, events, networking opportunities, and industry gatherings when appropriate.
- Work closely with Charidy’s fundraising and campaign teams to ensure a strong transition once an organization comes on board.
This role is less about traditional cold prospecting and more about relationships.
You already know people in the nonprofit world. You have spent time building trust and credibility with nonprofit executives, development professionals, consultants, board members, fundraisers, or philanthropic leaders.
You are someone people take a meeting with because they know you, trust you, or value your perspective.
You understand how to listen, ask thoughtful questions, identify an opportunity, and make the right introduction without making the relationship feel transactional.
You may currently work in fundraising, nonprofit leadership, consulting, business development, philanthropy, or another area that has given you a strong network within the sector.
Whether you are looking for your next full-time opportunity or want to add a meaningful business development role alongside your existing work, we are open to creating the right structure for the right person.
Qualifications- Must bring an established book of business and strong existing relationships within the nonprofit and philanthropic community.
- Proven experience in business development, fundraising, nonprofit leadership, consulting, philanthropy, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage relationships to create opportunities and develop partnerships.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable having conversations with nonprofit leadership and senior decision-makers.
- Self‑motivated and able to independently develop and nurture opportunities.
- Strong understanding of the nonprofit fundraising landscape is highly preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Charidy’s internal sales, fundraising, and campaign teams.
