Location: New York
A hospital-based surgical program in Syracuse, New York is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) for a 13-week locum tenens assignment supporting vascular surgery services
. This is an inpatient role with a consistent 3×12-hour schedule (36 hours/week) and competitive hourly compensation.
This opportunity is ideal for NPs with a strong inpatient surgical background who enjoy locum work, procedural exposure, and collaborative hospital-based care.
What You’ll Do- Provide inpatient care for vascular surgery patients
- Support pre‑op, post‑op, and daily surgical rounding
- Monitor patient status, labs, and treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with surgeons and hospital care teams
- Document care accurately in EMR
- 1–3 years inpatient surgical experience
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced hospital environment
