APP- Nurse Practitioner | Physician Assistant – Breast Health
Bronx, NY and Manhattan, NY
Days:
Monday-Friday (8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.).
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our NY Breast Health team in Brooklyn, NY. In this role, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, comprehensive care, guiding patients through breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
In This Role, You Will- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with breast health concerns, including cancer prevention and survivorship care.
- Collaborate with breast surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients on breast cancer prevention, risk reduction, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Participate in genetic counseling and testing, interpreting results and providing counseling and recommendations to patients.
- Perform necessary procedures (e.g., biopsies, imaging interpretation) in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on clinical findings and diagnostic results.
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Act as a key member of the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of breast health.
- Participate in patient education and community outreach programs, providing resources and support to the local community.
- Stay current with advancements in breast health, cancer care, and relevant medical technologies.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (for NP) or relevant graduate degree (for PA) from an accredited program.
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in New York.
- Previous experience in breast health, oncology, or surgical oncology is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills in oncology or breast health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and support patients effectively.
- Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care.
- Spanish Speaking (Preferred)
- Must be willing to travel to Bronx, and Manhattan offices.
Hours:
Monday-Friday (8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.).
Salary up to $175,000/year based on experience.
