RN-Nurse Supervisor

Full Time. Cobble Hill Health Center is a not-for-profit long‑ and short‑term care facility providing services to the disabled and elderly for over 40 years. The Registered Nurse Supervisor plays an integral role in helping us achieve our vision: to consistently exceed expectations and set the standard for excellence in residential and community care.

Now Hiring for a full‑time RN Supervisor on the Evening Shift (3 pm‑11 pm) and Overnight Shift (11 pm‑7 am).

Who You Are

The Registered Nurse Supervisor is the leader and most senior position in the building, coordinating all staff and resident needs.

What You Offer
  • Minimum 2‑3 years of leadership experience, 5+ years of clinical experience
  • Leadership skills and mentorship ability – you love to help people learn and grow!
  • Available to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
  • You never shy away from a challenge and welcome the opportunity to solve tough problems
  • Graduate from an approved school of nursing
  • An active Registered Nurse license for New York State
  • CPR certification
Responsibilities Include
  • Lead clinical team in managing care of all clinically unstable patients, ensuring optimum care is provided in‑house and unnecessary hospitalizations are avoided.
  • Lead interdisciplinary team in receiving all new admissions into the facility, ensuring optimal care and a great first impression for patients and families.
  • Lead and problem‑solve any clinical and administrative emergencies that arise on the tour.
  • Support staff through education and leadership, holding staff accountable when necessary.
  • Act on behalf of the leadership team, providing great coaching and customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff.
