About Camp Echo Lake

Camp Echo Lake is a children’s summer camp located in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State. We have 500 campers (aged 7-16) and 300 staff with us for seven weeks from late June to mid-August.

Campers participate in a full breadth of activities and our credo, "Dedicated to Human Development," comes through in everything we do. Echo Lake is a warm and welcoming community where human connections develop and run very deep.

We have a lot of fun and also help children build character and independence as they experience camp. Staff are the lifeblood of everything we do and committed and invested adults allow our children to grow and thrive!

Be part of a Health Center team that consists of an on-site physician and ten nurses. We have a robust on-site facility with excellent local resources (EMS, Regional Hospital and off-site wellness clinics are all nearby camp). Our nursing team deals primarily with triage and medication administration.

Looking for RNs (and 2‑3 LPNs) with at least one year of nursing experience. If you do not possess a New York license, we will pay for you to get your license in New York State.

We are looking for nurses who are not only strong clinically, but just as important are people who are team players, enjoy working with kids, love the outdoors and who possess a good sense of humor!
