Join our team as a Clinical Nurse in Koch Perioperative Services. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase compassionate, evidence‑based nursing care skills and make a meaningful impact in our Perioperative department.

Role Overview
  • The Clinical Nurse II will provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care across the following perioperative services:
  • Pre‑surgical (PSC) Services Post‑Operative (PACU) Services
  • Interventional Radiology (IR), Endoscopy and Bone Marrow Under Sedation
  • Assure completion of required diagnostic and evaluative tests, providing related patient education programs and pre‑operative clinical assessments.
  • Work reciprocally with other members of the perioperative team.
  • Implement the nursing process for surgical patients requiring monitoring and nursing interventions in an acute PACU setting
  • Assure completion of required diagnostic and evaluative tests, providing related patient education programs and post‑operative clinical assessments.
Key Qualifications
  • New York State RN license and BSN
  • Critical Care, Telemetry, Pre surgical or post‑surgical experience preferred
  • Strong IV Skills a plus
  • BLS, ACLS
  • 1‑2 years of surgical oncology experience a plus

    David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care, 530 East 74th, New York, NY
  • Schedule:

    10 Hour shifts, Monday - Friday flexed hours 6.30am - 9.00 pm with flexibility to work weekends as needed
  • Reporting To:
    Nurse Leader, Perioperative Services

Pay Range: $ - $FSLA Status:
Exempt
