Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operating Room Nurse Manager to provide 24/7 leadership and accountability for unit operations and staff performance. Responsibilities

* Provide leadership and accountability for unit operations and staff performance around the clock.

* Support nursing leadership in developing strategic goals aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and values.

* Ensure adherence to established care delivery models and professional practice standards.

* Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and organizational policies.

* Demonstrate current clinical knowledge relevant to the patient population served.

* Stay informed on healthcare legislation, standards of practice, and population health trends.

* Identify and lead initiatives to improve operations using evidence-based strategies.

* Perform related duties as required to support unit and organizational objectives.

Essential Skills

* Active Registered Nurse license in New York State.

* 6-8 years of General Operating Room/Abdominal Transplant/Robotics nursing experience.

* 2-5 years in a leadership or management role.

* Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor of Science in Nursing required;
Master's degree preferred.

* CNOR certification preferred.

* Relevant specialty certifications as applicable.

* Experience working in a non-union based position.

* Cardiac surgery, thoracic transplant, and robotics experience.

This is a Permanent position based out of Great Neck Plaza, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
