Position OverviewImpact Recruiting Solutions is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with specialized experience in Hematology /Oncology to join a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. Full-time, Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. - Professional Growth:

- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license (Required).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Hematology/Oncology setting as a Registered Nurse.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in chemotherapy administration, central line care, port access, management of oncology-related symptoms, and patient assessment. Knowledge of oncology protocols and safety standards. - Soft Skills: Compassionate bedside manner, excellent communication with patients and families, strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions.
- Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other oncology treatments safely.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient responses to treatments and interventions.
- Manage central lines, ports, and other vascular access devices.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, side effect management, and supportive care resources.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control standards, and oncology nursing best practices.
