Position Overview:
This role is for a Maternal and Child Health Registered Nurse assigned to the Post Partum/Mother Baby Unit at Woodhull Medical Center. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns, utilizing strong clinical judgment and effective communication while collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Schedule:
3 days per week (alternating weekends)
- Active New York State RN License – Required
- Primary source verification of RN License from NYSED – Required
- Minimum 2 years of Maternal and Child Health experience – Required
- Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience – Required
- Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience – Required
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- ACLS (AHA) – Required (except Bellevue)
- NRP Certification – Required
- Charting System: EPIC
- Postpartum and newborn nursing care
