Through primary care and multispecialty medical practices, the physicians and other health care professionals of NYPMG, in collaboration with Columbia Doctors and Weill Cornell Physicians, provide patients with high quality, patient-centered care close to home in the New York metropolitan area.
The Nurse Practitioner provides quality and comprehensive care & services to patients; collaborates with the physician in Orthopedic/Sports Medicine and is willing to learn various procedures.
ResponsibilitiesThe Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the management of care for a specified group of patients in accordance with mutually agreed upon protocols and within the policies and procedures established by the Department of Nursing, the American Nurses Association, and New York-Presbyterian Medical Group (NYPMG).
Schedule and LocationsThis is a full time (40 hour/week) position. Hours vary from 7AM - 6pm. Must be flexible and able to travel to all three practice locations:
- 1985 Crompond Road Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567
- 35 S. Riverside Avenue Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520
- 1756 Route 9D Cold Spring, NY 10516
Preferred Criteria
:
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the specialty of practice.
- 1+ years of NP experience preferably in Orthopedics.
- Administering various injections
Required Criteria
:
- BSN
- Master’s Degree in specialty of practice or completed alternative certification requirements for graduates of nurse practitioner programs prior to April 1, 1989.
- Current NYS RN License.
- Current New York State License as Nurse Practitioner in area of practice.
- Basic Life Support through the AHA

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
