** Nursing Attendant – ETAP/ED Holding - Full Time - Evening Shift

At New York-Presbyterian/Queens, ETAP/ED Holding nursing is a moment-to-moment, career-transforming experience. ETAP is a 30 bed unit that serves admitted patients from the ED waiting bed assignment. Here, ETAP nurses independently assess conditions and rapidly coordinate multidisciplinary care.
ETAP serves not only as an emergency observation unit, but ensures that our patients admitted from the Emergency Department (ED) receive the same exceptional evaluation and diagnostic services they have come to expect from our hospital, before they even get to their assigned rooms.  Our ETAP nursing team make that continuity of care possible.
** This is a Full Time Evening Shift (3P - 11P; 36.25 hrs/wk) position at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Queens located at 56-45 Main Street, Flushing, NY 11355. Every weekend is required for the first 2 years of experience.
**** Required Criteria
*** Previous Nurse’s aide experience or equivalent in a hospital setting; or certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aid training program, or currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum
* High School Diploma or GED

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
