Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA)

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday | 8–10 hour shifts

About the Opportunity

A growing outpatient practice in Canarsie is seeking a Pediatric NP or PA to join their clinical team. This role is open due to the need for a dedicated pediatric specialist to manage and grow the pediatric patient population (ages 0–21).

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and motivated pediatric provider who is comfortable practicing independently and building their own patient panel.

The Pediatric NP/PA will provide comprehensive primary care services to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting, including some same-day walk-ins.

Age Range: 0–21 years

Support Staff: Front desk team, Medical Assistant, and supplemental support as needed

• Deliver high-quality primary care to pediatric patients
• Manage and grow an independent patient panel
• Evaluate and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions
• Appropriately triage higher-acuity cases (e.g., chest pain → immediate ER referral)
• Participate in provider meetings and review posted performance metrics
• Contribute to a competitive, growth-focused clinical environment

Required:

• Licensed NP or PA
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric clinical experience
• Strong clinical judgment and independent practice capability
• Comfort serving as the sole provider on-site

Preferred:

• Spanish-speaking (not required)
• Experience in a pediatric-focused outpatient setting

• Pediatric specialist comfortable running their own panel
• Competitive and self-motivated
• Skilled at engaging children and families
