Job SummaryAt New York‑Presbyterian Hospital, CRNAs deliver patient‑centered anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures including cardiac, vascular, neurosurgery, and pediatrics. CRNAs administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency surgeries and diagnostic procedures across the campus. The role offers flexible scheduling, collaborative decision‑making, and opportunities for clinical instruction.
Key Responsibilities- Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency surgeries.
- Participate in shared clinical decision‑making and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Provide one‑on‑one anesthesia instruction to nursing students in the University’s program.
- Rotate between adult and pediatric patient populations (Columbia, Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, Allen Hospital).
- Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and compliance with state regulations.
- At least 1 year of experience as a certified registered nurse anesthetist.
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP or DNAP).
- Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Master of Science in Nursing.
- Current New York State RN license or willingness to obtain.
- BCLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
Salary Range: $270,000–$335,000 per year. Competitive benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
Location and AvailabilityAll roles require on‑site presence; employees must live within a commutable distance to NYP. Travel expenses are not reimbursed.
