OB/LDRP Registered Nurse Traveler

The RN traveler must be available to work every other holiday, similar to full-time staff.

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced OB/LDRP Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. This unit accommodates a monthly average of 80-90 deliveries, requiring both skilled and adaptable nursing professionals. The unit features private labor, delivery, recovery rooms, postpartum rooms, and operating rooms for Caesarean births, alongside a special care nursery. The ideal candidate will work alongside a mix of experienced RNs and new graduates who are currently gaining specialized OB experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns.
• Assist in labor and delivery processes.
• Monitor patient progress and fetal conditions.
• Ensure safe recovery for postpartum patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Preferred: 3+ years of OB experience; consideration for candidates with less than 3 years if they have prior travel experience or have worked in a specialized OB setting.

  BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification.
