Key Responsibilities of the ICU RN:
Provide compassionate, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients
Conduct detailed assessments and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
Manage ventilators, vasoactive drips, and life-support systems
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
Administer medications and titrate infusions in accordance with protocols
Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR
Participate in rapid response and code blue situations
Requirements of the ICU RN:
Active New York RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum  2 years of recent ICU experience
Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
Proficiency with ICU equipment and evidence-based protocols
