** This is a full time 37.5hr weekly (8:30AM-5:30PM M-onday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Wednesday and Saturday 9:00AM-1:00PM every other week) schedule working as a*
* ** Staff nurse to perform NST.
** NST monitoring requires continuous, bedside observation of the fetal heart rate throughout the entire monitoring period. In the event of fetal heart rate decelerations or other abnormalities, the monitoring clinician must be able to immediately recognize emergent patterns, notify the physician, and initiate appropriate clinical interventions (patient repositioning, contraction assessment, monitor adjustment).NST monitoring is traditionally and safely performed by an RN.  

Nurses possess the advanced clinical judgment necessary to recognize subtle or emergent fetal heart rate changes.
** Travel may be required to cover other NYP Brooklyn Medical Group locations.
**** Preferred Criteria
*** At least one year of RN experience and/or capstone or a senior clinical rotation with a preceptor
* Registered Nurse L&D Experience
** Required Criteria
*** Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
* Current New York State RN license
* BCLS certification
