How you'll make an impact in this role

* Administers medications and treatments, monitors residents' medical conditions, reports changes, and provides direct nursing care under the supervision of the Unit Manager and RN Supervisor.

* Maintains accurate medical records, protects confidential information, and ensures compliance with policies, safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement programs.

* Supervises CNAs, assists physicians during procedures, supports residents and families during crises, and helps maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

* Upholds the facility's mission and core values through professional conduct, ongoing education, teamwork, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

* Must possess Basic Life Support Certification credentials, required.

* Current New York State LPN License, required.

Education:

* Graduate from an accredited school of Practical Nursing, required.

Work Experience:

* On the job training provided.

* One (1) year medical-surgical skilled nursing home experience, preferred.
