The Nurse Educator - Level II position involves implementing, monitoring, and evaluating nursing educational programs, including orientation and competency assessments, to align with healthcare goals. - Schedule: Full-Time, Day (9:00 A.M – 5:00 P.M)
- Coordinate nursing educational programs and activities for an assigned healthcare setting.
- Participate in planning and conducting nursing staff development programs.
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and evaluate in-service nursing orientation.
- Identify and collect information related to learning needs.
- Conduct program evaluations measuring learning impact and outcomes.
- Assess learners’ progress and adjust educational activities as needed.
- Contribute to competency assessment by monitoring nursing staff’s knowledge.
- Serve on nursing and healthcare setting committees as assigned.
- Instruct and provide in-service education for new products and equipment.
- Develop teaching and learning strategies to promote participant engagement.
Experience: Experience as a Nurse Educator preferred.
Licenses &
Certifications:
Current RN License in New York State.
Annual education differential based on degree:
- Bachelors in allied health discipline = $900
- Masters in allied health discipline = $1,200
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) = $1,800
- Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) = $2,000
- Doctorate in Education, Nursing Practice or PhD in Nursing (DNP) = $2,500
Annual certification differential ranging from $1,878 up to $4,878 for recognized certifications.
Annual nursing experience differential ranging from $1,097 up to $9,100 for up to 10 years of experience.
