• Coordinate nursing educational programs and activities for an assigned health care setting.
• Participate in planning and conducting nursing staff development programs.
• Plan, organize, coordinate, and evaluate in-service nursing orientation.
• Identify and collect information related to learning needs.
• Conduct program evaluations that measure learning impact and outcomes.
• Assess learners’ progress and adjust educational activities as needed.
• Contribute to competency assessment by monitoring nursing staff's knowledge.
• Serve on nursing and health care setting committees as assigned.
• Instruct and provide in-service education for new products and equipment.
• Develop teaching and learning strategies to promote participant engagement.

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred

• Experience as a Nurse Educator preferred

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Provider Certification preferred

• Annual education differential based on degree:
  • Bachelors in allied health discipline – $900
  • Masters in allied health discipline – $1,200
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) – $1,800
  • Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) – $2,000
  • Doctorate in Education, Nursing Practice or PhD in Nursing (DNP) – $2,500
• Annual certification differential ranging from $1,878 up to $4,878 for recognized certifications.
• Annual nursing experience differential ranging from $1,097 up to $9,100 for up to 10 years of experience.
