About This Role

The Ambulatory Care Nurse at NYU Langone Health will support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse looking to provide comprehensive care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

• Location: Brooklyn, NY
• Facility: NYU Grossman School of Medicine
• Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift

• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Collect patient health history.
• Record information in electronic health record.
• Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families regarding test results and treatment plans.
• Administer medications, provide comprehensive wound care, and perform patient triage.
• Assess and monitor patient responses to treatments and procedures.
• Consult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers to determine best treatment plans.
• Direct, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses and medical assistants.
• Support the coordination and implementation of nursing practice and clinical policies.
• Participate in clinical inquiry and activities to foster evidence‑based practice.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required;
  Associate Degree in Nursing may be approved contingent upon approval from Nursing Leadership.

Experience:

• Minimum of two years nursing experience in applicable area.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current Registered Nurse License in New York.
• Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification preferred.
